Coaching4Success

Karin Genton L’Epée is proud to introduce Coaching4Success, a new training program aimed at professionals and business people who may find themselves currently moving into a new position or going through a transition period.

This program presents participants with a practical system that can help:

  • Assess strengths, skills, and talents
  • Identify goals
  • Match goals and interests
  • Improve self-promotion, both personally and professionally
  • Pick and choose alternative career paths
  • Seek out the ideal job

Though periods of change and transition can indeed be difficult, they can also present new and exciting opportunities.

Beginning in June, the Coaching4Success program will be available as a series of workshops and/or one-on-one coaching sessions. Planned topics to be addressed include:

Who are you? What are your strengths? What are your skills? What are your values? What are your needs? What motivates you?

CV & cover letter writing, presenting yourself, interviewing skills

The Search Process

Approach, research, lead generation (networking, direct contacts, headhunters, classified ads, the Internet, etc.)

How likable are you?

All business is personal. In the end, people do business with people they like.

Regardless of where we are from, what language we speak and or cultures we identify with, we all like to be liked and are more inclined to do associate with people we like than with those we don’t.

The first step to increasing our likability is to know ourselves: Who are we? What do we stand for? What is important to us? In other words, what do we value, what do we believe in, and what is our personality type? How do people perceive us, and what impressions do they have when they interact with us?

The second step is to learn about others: Who are they, what’s important to them, and how can we identify their communication styles?

The goal is not to change our personality or change their personalities. Rather, it is to be able to adjust our communication styles to accommodate each other so as to connect and communicate more efficiently.

Another way to increase our likability is to look for common interests. From hobbies to sport, family situations to belief systems, as it is possible to find something in common with just about anyone. It might take a bit of creative effort, but discovering where interests and passions overlap does pay off.

By learning who we are and how to get along with the widest variety of personality types, we can increase our effectiveness with less frustration and a lot more fun.
